Why choose a Mountain Park Labradoodle?

We guarantee that:
*Each of our breeding dogs will be health tested according to the most exacting breed standard (equivalent to ALAA Gold Paw requirements).  These tests include:
Hips- Wallace and OFA
Patellas- OFA
Eyes- CERF exam and PRA clear, either by test or parentage
Cardiac- OFA by auscultation
Thyroid- Tgaa

*Each of our breeding dogs lives in a loving home, rather than in a kennel.  Some of our dogs live in guardian homes, whose owners raise and love our dogs during their breeding careers.  After the dog is retired, the guardian home becomes its "forever home".

*Each of our breeding dogs and puppies has received the best of care, including good food, lots of attention, proper exercise, and probably the warmest spot at the foot of the bed!

*Each of our pet puppies has been exposed to early neural stimulation (also called biosensor) from days 3 through 16 after birth, and comes to you having been evaluated using the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test on Day 49.  The first is done to enhance the puppy's trainability, and the second to help us place the puppy with the owner/family best suited for its personality and strengths.

*Each of our pet puppies comes to you having slept in a crate at night for at least a week, and having been introduced to the basic concepts of potty training (clean environment, outside to potty in the morning, before and after naps, and at bedtime).

*Each Mountain Park Labradoodle pet puppy comes to you with the following amenities:
1st vaccination and periodic routine worming
Checkup with licensed veterinarian
Microchip
Quart size bag of food
A "lovie"- piece of blanket with the scent of Mom and siblings on it
Nylabone or other appropriate toy(s)
Lupine Collar and Leash

*The purchase price of each of our pet puppies includes the following services:
Two year health warranty
Four generation pedigree
*Lindy/Story litter only:  early spay/neuter
Complete record of vaccinations and healthcare
And most importantly-
Cheerful, unfailing, unlimited support for the life of your puppy (Priceless!)

Our Adoption Process

If you are interested in purchasing an Australian Labradoodle pet puppy, please fill out our applicationAfter your puppy application is approved, please submit a non-refundable deposit of $500.

This deposit is then deducted from the final purchase price of $2500, which is due in full when the puppy is 6 weeks old. When your payment is received, you enter into a binding contract with Mountain Park Labradoodles which will spell out all agreements between seller and buyer, and will provide for the protection of the buyer, seller, and the puppy.

All puppies are sold as pet quality with a legal, contractual agreement to spay and neuter, or already spayed and neutered at time of departure from Mountain Park Labradoodles. No breeding rights are conveyed or implied.   If you wish to purchase a breeding quality puppy, please contact me and I will be happy to provide the cost and details involved.

Methods of Payment:  We accept Paypal (see payment menu at left), cashier's check, or money order, payable to Deborah Martin.

Located in the greater Portland, OR metro area, we are within easy driving distance of Washington, Idaho, Northern California, and even British Columbia.  We are able to ship puppies throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Asia.  However, if at all possible, we prefer the puppy to travel in cabin, either with you or hand-delivered by Mountain Park Labradoodles.  For Europe and Asia, we strongly recommend in cabin transportation.  Shipping costs are not included in our prices. Please contact us for more information about flying your puppy home. We bill the actual transportation costs, which will include transportation to and from the airport, vet certified health certificate, other necessary documentation, airline approved crate (in which the puppy will have started its crate training), food, water and blanket or pad.

We accept Paypal (see payment menu at left) or cashier's check only,  payable to Deborah Martin.

Our Puppy Allocation Process

By 7 weeks, puppies are matched with their families based on preferences communicated on your application, emails and photos exchanged, phone conversations and also on Mountain Park’s observations of puppy temperament and other characteristics. Puppies are matched in the order that deposits are received.  Please note:  you are purchasing a pet puppy only.  No breeding rights or permissions are conveyed or implied.

Of course, we want the best fit for our puppies and your family and occasionally, we may need to forego immediate placement of a puppy if we feel there is not a good match for you in the current litter. On the other hand, if the timing isn't right for you and your situation,  you may request your deposit be moved to a subsequent litter. Although rare, we also reserve the right to refund deposits if for any reason we are not comfortable placing a puppy with your family. We require first rights to purchase a dog back if for some reason youare unable to keep the dog.

Mountain Park Labradoodles has the right to retain any puppy for its breeding program, and so it may be that not all puppies in a litter are available as pets. At 7.5 weeks, puppies are microchipped. Puppies are ready to go to their forever homes at 8 to 10 weeks (at Mountain Park’s discretion), after a checkup at our veterinarian's office and veterinarian health certificate, if flying.
You are always welcome to email me at mountainparklabradoodles@comcast.net or call at 503-635-8316 to ask questions about the breed, puppy care, our breeding program and about how we select puppies for our adopting families.
